Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster re-announces himself in perfect style with double over Tranmere Rovers

The last and only time Rhian Brewster had previously featured for Liverpool ’s first-team was in a 2017 friendly against Sydney FC.
The then 17-year-old played 45 minutes and would have picked up more appearances if it wasn’t for a nasty knee injury which stumped his rise into the senior fold.
Having made his return to fitness, Brewster is now looking to make himself a serious option for Jurgen Klopp in the Reds' upcoming 2019/20 season, and the first step on that road came as he was named in the side to take on Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park on Thursday night.
Liverpool's Rhian Brewster celebrates scoring against Tranmere

It didn’t take long for the 19-year-old to start strutting his stuff and living up to the highly-rated hype.
The fleet-footed forward was constantly rooting for the ball, and while he operated in a mostly central position, he was no stranger to running out wide or deep to vigorously hunt down possession.
Brewster’s link up play was eye-catching throughout, and he took no time to work a shooting opportunity for Nathaniel Clyne who opened the scoring with a thunderous strike.
The Champions League winner soon added to his assist as some confident interplay with veteran midfielder James Milner led to a goalscoring chance for Brewster.
Brewster showed his strength as he battled it out with Tranmere defender Manny Monthe in an overall imperious showing.
It was a standout performance from the Academy fledgling who has not only re-announced himself on the first-team stage but looks to have underlined his claims with that masterful display.

Unfortunately, the Phillies still had a chance to bat. The Dodgers turned to Kenley Jansen , who gave up three runs in the bottom of the ninth of a 9-8 loss .
